A Bit About Me

Alma Ruiz is a distinguished art historian, curator, and writer based in Los Angeles, California. With extensive experience in contemporary and Latin American art, she has played a significant role in shaping exhibitions and curatorial projects worldwide. Ruiz has worked at The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), Los Angeles, for nearly two decades, serving in various curatorial capacities, including Senior Curator. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Center for Business and Management of the Arts at Claremont Graduate University and an independent curator.
