A Bit About Me
Starting in 2005 as a manager of a nonprofit space in the District 798 of Dasanz, China, Jun Hye Yeon was served as the director of P.S.B Residence and C.O.L. Residence of CAN Foundation in Beijing until 2012. As a planning advisor at Beijing-based MK2 Art Space, Jun Hye Yeon was also responsible for a number of exhibitions, art festivals, and worked as an art director of exhibitions ran by state-run organizations. Currently, focusing on the experiences in China, Jun Hye Yeon is actively working as an exhibition planner in South Korea and introduces Chinese artists to international events. Since 2014, in order to correctly inform Korean history, she organized the public projects in Glendale, California regarding Japanese military sexual slavery, so called ‘Comfort Women.’ This Comfort Women Exhibition and Memorial Day for Comfort Women is organized with the City of Glendale.
